COVID-19 Clinic Changes

Aquarius Chiropractic's COVID-19 protocol

We are currently living in a new normal

With respect to COVID-19, we have employed several new hygiene measures to ensure all our patients have a safe experience at Aquarius Chiropractic.  We have implemented guidelines set out by our Provincial Health Officer and WorkSafe BC.  We are committed to provide a clean and safe environment to mitigate transmission where possible while protecting both patients and staff.  The following is a roadmap to guide you in and out of our office smoothly and safely.

Arriving for your appointment

Please arrive ALONE (with the exception of caregivers and adults accompanying minors) for your treatment session ON TIME, not any earlier.  Daily appointment availability will be reduced to minimize contact with other patients, reduce waiting time in our reception area, and provide us time to clean prior to your visit.  Should there be another person at reception finishing their visit please maintain a 2-meter distance while in the clinic or wait outside our entrance until the last patient leaves.

Social distancing

Floor markings have been installed as a guide to outline where to stand and sit.  Please follow these markers closely to ensure a smooth flow through the clinic.

Plexiglass

Plexiglass sneeze guards have been installed at the front desk for your protection and ours.

Health screening

You will be asked to verbally verify your current health related to COVID-19 risk factors while scheduling your appointments and before starting the treatment session.

We will also be screening ourselves before and after each workday with temperature checks.

Washing your hands

PLEASE USE our hand-sanitizer (located at the front desk and in the treatment rooms) or our hallway sink (located between our front desk and rear treatment rooms) to wash your hands when you ARRIVE and at the CONCLUSION of your appointment.  Your doctor will be thoroughly hand washing and or using hand-sanitizer before and after every appointment as well.

Face protection

Patients and staff are required to wear masks at all times in the clinic.  If you do not have one, we will provide one to you.  Medical grade masks are now mandatory in all healthcare facilities – cloth masks are not acceptable.

Treatment area

Treatment rooms, tables and tools will be thoroughly disinfected before and after each patient's session.

Clothing

Gowns and shorts will no longer be provided, please come dressed appropriately for your appointment.

Changes in payment methods

At the moment we no longer accept cash or cheques.  Our POS machine is equipped with tap to reduce contact and limit physical contact with the front desk staff.

Not feeling well

If you or any member of your family have any cold or flu-like symptoms (coughing, runny nose, fever, or difficulty breathing) within the past 14 days, please cancel your appointment and do not come in.  Alternatively, you may consider rescheduling a virtual online-rehab appointment.

Travel

If you have been out of the country in the 14 days prior to your appointment, please reschedule.

Cancellation fees

There will be no charge for last minute cancellations related to COVID-19.
